It's hard to always be alone, believing in myself while seeing such slow progress. I don't think people understand this part of being a creative or an artist. That you have to continuously believe in your work, in yourself. That you have to just keep going even when you don't feel immediate payoffs. Recently I've been using "creative affirmations" since I was introduced to the idea of them in the Artist's Way, and have found them super useful, and I think you will too.  Even though affirmations might sound a little woo-woo they are simply phrases that are said as "truths" to oneself.
