Welcome to Art Club, where creativity is the name of the game!

I founded Art Club to provide a space where people can unlock their creativity in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The events are a great way to disconnect from the outside world, reconnect with yourself, and meet like-minded people in the process.

I truly believe getting creative (for instance, with arts and crafts) is something everyone can benefit from. It’s a fantastic way to unwind and express yourself. I know it's also something many wished they did more, but also aren't sure where to start, or how to go about it. That's where I come in.

My job as your host is to guide you to create a unique and original art creation. Hopefully in the process, you will also pick up a few tips and tricks along the way, and learn a thing or two about technique and style.

And what better way to get creative, than while sipping on a coffee (or a beer, let's be real lol), and meeting other people.

Each event is centered around a theme, and explores different techniques and materials. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s about creating something uniquely yours. I encourage everyone to experiment, play, and let creativity flow. You’ll be amazed at what you can create!

When is Art Club?
Art Club is a regularly hosted creative art event. Dates coming soon.

Where is Art Club?
Art Club takes place at local venues in Leiden, The Netherlands (usually a bar or café). You can find event details and sign up through the MeetUp group very soon.

Why Join?
Join an event for a fun and relaxed evening where you can tap into your creative side, create your own one-of-a-kind artwork, and connect with others who share your passion.

Who is it for?
Whether you've always wanted to try your hand at painting but never dared, or you're a full-time artist looking to meet fellow creatives, or maybe something in the middle, everyone is welcome. The only goal is to have fun and explore your creativity.

Materials:
All art supplies are provided and included in the event price. If you prefer to work with your own sketchbook or materials, feel free to bring them along!

I will be your host, (@mattie_art on Instagram). I'm a passionate artist with a love for bringing people together through creativity.

I have hosted many art events and workshops throughout the years. My goal is to always create a space where attendees feel free to express themselves and let their inner artist play, as well as make a fun and laid back atmosphere.
