Mattie Art is teaming up with Cabron, the recently opened Mexican restaurant and cocktail bar in Folkestone, to host an art Pop Up Exhibition. Join the fun at the Opening Night event on Thursday 24th August 2023, or visit the exhibition which will run until mid-September. Mural & Collab with Be Your Gallery - Afflecks Palace
I teamed up with Be Your Gallery to celebrate the launch of their new gallery space. They called me up and told me the plan, they wanted to collaborate with 3 different locals Manchester artists and create a special mural on their doors that expressed each art style. I decided to do a fun and very playful design for the mural. Focusing it on celebrating the wonderful people of Afflecks Palace, an iconic creative space in Manchester, which is also very LGBTQ friendly. Going Live April 12th - The Lockdown Collection: Tropical Dreams
On the 12th of April 2021, to celebrate the end of lockdown in the UK, Mattie will be releasing The Lockdown Collection: Tropical Dreams on to her website. It will not be a normal exhibition, let's just say it comes with a few little surprises. The collection ties together Mattie's experience from over the past 3/4 months, and consists of her artwork created during her art residency at Pop Up Ancoats.
